At ATO STUDIO, we specialize in Gel Manicure and Nail Art.
Our main services include: Gel Polish, Structured Manicure (BIAB), Gel on the natural nail and extensions APRÈS gel-x system. With each service, you can add a nail art category of your choice.
These services include cuticle removal, gel base application or extension, color or chrome, and finished with top coat.
To complete the service, we apply cuticle balm and hand cream, accompanied by a brief massage.
We offer a variety of colors and Nail Art levels, each with varying prices and duration.
Additionally, we provide freestyle Nail Art services at a more affordable price, encouraging the creation of more creative and interesting designs for the artist, who makes the choice.
In addition to these, we also do removals.

BIAB, or "Builder In A Bottle," is an innovative technique in manicure. It is used to strengthen natural nails and promote their growth. By applying BIAB, we create a resilient layer over the natural nail, providing protection and a smooth surface for color application or nail art. It is ideal for those who want healthy nails without the need for extensions.

Gel manicure provides a perfect and long-lasting finish. We use high-quality gel, which is carefully applied and then cured under LED UV light, ensuring persistent shine and chipping resistance. This option is ideal for those looking for a practical solution keeping your nails always beautiful and well treated.

Gel-X Après is an innovative gel extension system. Unlike traditional extensions, these are pre-molded and made entirely of gel, ensuring a perfect and natural fit. Their application is quick and offers a wide range of sizes and shapes, also is a less aggressive option for natural nails.

The newbie of the team, Bárbara, aka Babi, started doing nails in November 2021.
After a basic nail course, she began practicing at home with her friends and family, and quickly started serving clients. In 2023, she got her certification in Leafgel Premium.
Babi has a special passion for working with natural nails and gel-x extensions.
Her favorite nail art styles are inspired by Korean and Japanese trends, which include many 3D elements, gems and charms, and textures. She loves pink, glitter, and everything that’s cute.

Eloá has been in the industry for 14 years. Originally from Brazil, she moved to Portugal 4 years ago.
At the beginning of her career, she started working with regular polish and taught at a manicure school for 6 years, gradually moving to working with gel and nail art.
She loves working with gel-x extensions and natural nails and meticulously caring for their health.
When it comes to nail art, she prefers styles that include airbrushing, 3D, textures and color, as well as modern and freestyle designs.
For her, being a nail artist keeps her curious and feeling that she is constantly evolving and learning.

Mariana started doing nails at the end of 2015.
Initially, she worked with her friends and family at home, and later began serving clients in their own homes in Lisbon, until 2021.
She loves to work with natural nails and gel.
She has a particular taste for creating unique freestyle nail art designs, especially hand-painted drawings inspired by paintings, artists, cartoons and anime. She is also a fan of abstract works that includes airbrush, 3D and gems, and modern nails.

Mariana started doing nails at the end of 2019, initially for friends and family. At the beginning of 2020, she got her first job in the beauty industry and gradually grew more interested and creative in the world of nail art.
By the end of 2021, she moved to Lisbon with the goal of developing and exploring this passion, eventually focusing solely on nail design. Hand-painted work (paintings, flames, characters, tribals, etc.) was her initial preference, but she soon became curious about 3D designs, airbrush, gem harmonization, and piercings!

Amy is originally from Thailand and began her nail-art journey in 2025.
She mainly works with gel, BIAB, Gel-X and extensions, always prioritising nails that are both beautiful and comfortable to wear.
Amy’s passion lies in 3D creations and hand-painted designs — she brings an artistic eye and plays with cute, on-trend shapes, adapting each design to the wearer’s personality.
For Amy, nails are a form of self-expression: her goal is for every client to feel special and confident with a unique design made with care.

WHERE WE ARE:
ATO STUDIO is located in downtown Lisbon (Baixa), very close to the Baixa-Chiado Metro Station (exit to Rua do Crucifixo/Rua do Ouro), near Rossio Train Station. It is also easily accessible via tram lines 12E, 15E, and 28E, as well as several bus routes.
We are open every day from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
